Landgasthof Bauerngirgl

The room was clean and tidy, and the location worked well for Salzburg and nearby attractions. There’s no air conditioning, so we had to leave the windows open. That brought in noise and cigarette smells, which I think came from staff in the garden below. It felt a little overpriced for what it was.

The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were nice.

The place is friendly, clean, and perfectly adequate, even if it isn't the newest. We stayed two nights as a group of three and would happily return. A bus goes to Salzburg Central Station every hour, and the tourist tax receipts let you use it for free, as well as public transport. In town there’s a restaurant with Bavarian and Croatian food, plus an Italian restaurant. We recommend both.

The location was peaceful, with good bus and train connections, and free parking right beside the hotel was a real plus. We spent four days at the Bauerngirgl and felt very comfortable. The room was clean and cozy, with a TV and a small fridge, and breakfast was delicious with something for everyone. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. The only small snag was the weak Wi-Fi in the room, which wasn't reliable. We'd definitely come back!
