The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and there's a supermarket and a shop selling water, beer, and other things across the street. It's a bit outside the city, but the hotel also offers a useful transfer to and from the opera house. This is a lower cost place in Bayreuth, so don't expect a Hilton. The staff were very friendly, the rooms spacious and clean, and breakfast was okay. After a long evening at the opera, I appreciated the bar by reception. We'd definitely stay again. The slow internet was one reason I took off a star. Larger downloads, such as YouTube videos, and photo uploads just weren't possible, though it seems like something that could be fixed. The other issue was the heat this summer. The hotel is on the top floor, with no air conditioning. That's a structural problem, but it won't matter much for most of the year.

The room was huge, clean, and had loads of space. I was shown in and just thought, wow. Breakfast was included and really hit the spot. Try the scrambled eggs. I'll recommend this hotel to everyone.

Check-in and check-out were super easy, and the team was very friendly. The rooms could use a bit of renovation, but everything was okay and worked. Free parking too.

A simple, clean hotel with an okay price, about 4 km from Bayeruth centre and reachable by bike. But why four stars? It doesn't feel like a four-star place, either for the service or the room rate.

The beds were comfortable and nice, and the staff were great.
