Das Bayrischzell Familotel Oberbayern

The team made this stay unforgettable. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The service and care for detail were on a level we rarely come across. Hotel Das Bayrischzell exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was excellent, varied, and high quality, and the accommodation was comfortable, stylish, and very well maintained. We also loved the beautiful setting and its surrounding nature, which made it ideal for relaxing. We’d wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and would love to return. A big thank you to the whole team.

On our first visit, we stayed for two nights as a family with a 3-year-old and a 4-month-old baby. The whole facility is cared for down to the details, and the food was great every time. The staff were extremely friendly. The Kids-Club team was especially sweet and patient with our shy 3-year-old, who even chose to have lunch with them. When we asked for a smaller cot than the one set up before check-in, and said the bedroom felt too warm on the first night, they listened and sorted both things out with a friendly, seemingly genuine smile. They met our expectations, and we’ll definitely recommend the place.

We had a little trouble catching a waiter to order drinks during dinner, but this was our second stay and the experience was really great again. It’s a very nice, well-equipped hotel in Bavaria, with friendly staff and very good food.

There’s plenty for families with kids to do here: indoor and outdoor playgrounds, swimming, a great gym, and hiking trails just outside the hotel. The location is great. For the 620EUR per night we paid, though, the food could be much better. The selection was quite limited, with little choice of fresh fruit, salads, or hot meals, and nothing extraordinary. At 7 p.m. the sauna was cold, even though it was listed as open. Sound insulation was poor too. We could hear kids crying as if they were next door.
