Gipfelkönig

We had a great time in this fantastic apartment. It’s tastefully furnished, has excellent amenities, and really does come with the modern kitchen appliances, fireplace, garden seating and barbecue described on the website. A few small things took adjustment: the floorboards creak, the upstairs light has to be switched off downstairs, and one room is a walk-through. Motion-sensor lights could easily fix the light issue. Public transport is infrequent, so you’ll need a car if you want a different starting point for excursions.

We’re still thrilled about our June civil wedding at Gipfelkönig, which we celebrated with our closest family and friends. Ingrid made the evening especially memorable by laying out the most beautiful table for our barbecue after the ceremony. It was stunningly decorated and a perfect end to such a special day. The apartment itself is stylish, lovingly decorated, and has everything you could wish for. We’re over the moon and can’t thank her enough. Hope we can all see you again soon!

We spent five days here with seven friends, and the house was fantastic. It’s spotless, the service is top-notch, and everything inside, including the kitchen and bathroom, is brand new. There are several lakes and lovely hikes nearby. One practical tip: bring a cable or Chromecast if you want to connect your phone, tablet, or laptop to the big TV. A few nights we heard a hissing sound around the campfire. It turned out to be the bells of the famous Tyrolean cows echoing through the mountains, though we couldn’t hear them indoors.

We’ve stayed at Gipfelkönig twice now, for four days each time with two families, and it always feels like home. The children love the big living-room rug for playing, and the fireplace makes the apartment especially cozy. There’s really nothing missing in this place, which feels almost like a house of its own. It’s unusually well stocked, from the fully equipped kitchen to dish soap, rubbish bags, dishwasher tablets, spices, vinegar, and oil. Towels and dish towels are provided, and even the beds are beautifully made. Everything is furnished with such care that it’s easy to settle in and switch off. We’d love to return and highly recommend a break at the beautiful Gipfelkönig apartment.
