Villa Rumpel aus Alt mach Neu

Karo and her husband are such friendly people, always ready to listen, and they gave us loads of tips for exploring the area. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back. Villa Rumpel is a curious name for a vacation rental. From outside, you wouldn't expect such a fully equipped, stylish place inside, with so much care put into the details. It's peaceful but still central, and shops are only a few minutes away on foot. We recommend the fish shop on Berliner Straße, Café Carmeleon at the market, and Dreißig bakery. St. Mary's Church is a must, the building is really impressive. The Spree River is only a few hundred meters away for boating, fishing, or walks. Beeskow Castle is worth seeing too, and sometimes has musical events. For hiking, try getting “lost” in the Schlaubetal valley. There are plenty of cycling routes as well.

The hosts have made this place into a real gem, and it takes no time to feel at home. The contrast between the outside and inside is magnificent. With the place and its surroundings making you want to stay forever, five stars hardly seem like enough. We'll definitely be back!

It's a lovely apartment, but the air fresheners are unbearable. It could really use more renovation work.

The apartment's name doesn't do justice to how nice it is. It's clean and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen and a great location.
