The dessert was actually nice, and the wine was good too. We had the three-course menu: the soup starter was good once it had a little salt, but the Beef Wellington was bland and fell apart a bit. It was huge, way too much food, and the texture wasn't great. The food overall fell below expectations, unfortunately. The servers were nice, but very slow. Dinner took nearly three hours.

I was hungry after a few hours on the ski trail, and Sunday didn't leave many restaurant options. I wish I'd gone somewhere else. I only had dinner here, so I can't comment on the hotel itself; the room category rating should reflect the food instead. The dining room has fresh, nice decor, though the place still feels like a German country tavern, a Stüberl. The portions were surprisingly tiny, really hobbit-sized. I've had dozens of Schweinshaxen, but never seen one this small, and I honestly doubt there was much more than 100 grams of meat. The kraut and mash were fine, but the sides were just as small. At €27, you'd expect about three times as much food. A salad with one main course wouldn't have left me satisfied. I had to order another round of starters for €29, bringing dinner to €76 just for me. I'm no big eater, just a regular guy.

The place is nicely decorated and quiet, and the staff were friendly. We chose the three-course meal from the regular menu, and everything was really delicious.

The food was good, but the service was disappointing from the start. Our 19:30 reservation wasn't seated until 20:00, and dinner didn't finish until 23:00. We waited an hour for dessert with no drinks, and nobody came to check on us. The staff weren't very welcoming either. I wouldn't go back.
