At the restaurant, I love that you can get saumagen, and the menu has plenty of really good choices, from chicken salad and fish to German staples like sautéed potatoes and wurst. It's set up for different tastes and ages, with cozy indoor tables, covered seating on the upstairs patio and sunny seats on the ground-floor patio out back. Service is pretty good for the area, and the price-quality ratio is great. The only downsides for me are that it's open only half the year and salad, which used to be free, now costs extra. I'm not sure they take reservations, but if they do, I'd book. Watch out for the closing times, which I think are Wednesday, and the cruise ships unloading tourists. In this tiny village, the cafes fill up fast. And Belstein itself is magical, an absolute must if you're anywhere near the Mosel River. If you see anything at all on the Mosel, make sure it's Beilstein.

The very kind owners made us feel welcome, and our family of two adults and three kids had a great holiday. A lovely family-run hotel in a beautiful village.

The dedicated kids' menu comes with crayons, Sudoku and colouring pages, which kept the impatient young people busy during the short wait for food. We've eaten at Restaurant Gute Quelle several times and always enjoyed the fresh, well-cooked, down-to-earth food. The staff have always been lovely and attentive, especially with the kids.

Breakfast was delicious each morning, and the comfortable, well-appointed room had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout. Hotel Gute Quelle in Beilstein exceeded all my expectations, with a stunning location and beautiful river views. I highly recommend it for a delightful, rejuvenating stay.

We went as a family, and the food came quickly, in about 15 minutes, and tasted great. My tagliatelle was a little hard, though. The Blanc de Noir wine wasn't very sour, and the price-performance ratio was great. A really good restaurant!
