The location was hard to find, so that's why I'm at four stars. Still, this stay was a perfect surprise. The owners run this family B&B themselves, so there's no reception, and they're wonderful people. From hello to goodbye, the service felt warm and homey, with friendly conversation. Breakfast wasn't the kind of buffet we're used to in Europe, but it was spot on. It even felt like a partner or family member was just outside making breakfast and wishing me a good day. I'm a musician and singer from Brooklyn, New York City, and I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and guest houses, from terrible places to five-star ones in more than 68 countries. This place felt like home, not a B&B. It's super clean and quiet, with that small village in the mountains feeling and weather people love. I'd stay again and recommend it. If you wonder whether this is biased or paid for, one Google search of my name will tell you everything about me. I think this place is awesome!! 😁

The owner was very welcoming and helpful, even though she doesn't speak English. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was fantastic. A great base for anyone walking the Rheinsteig.

Breakfast was served in the apartment and was plentiful and delicious. The apartment was spacious, modern, comfortable, and very well equipped. The welcoming host couple greeted us warmly, and our little pug could stay overnight at no extra charge.
