The location is a real plus, only one stop from Hamburg Central Station, and the rooms were very clean with the basics in place. It was quite noisy at night, though still fine for sleeping. Communication with the landlord could have been better in a few ways. A decent option if you're watching your budget.

We were expecting very little since it was listed as a place for construction workers, so the clean rooms were a nice surprise. They're simply furnished, but everything was spotless and even the kitchen utensils looked almost new. The rooms are basic, but we were really satisfied. The subway and commuter rail are just a stone's throw away.

We had to wait around 30 minutes past check-in because the cleaning staff hadn't finished with our apartment. The smell in the apartment and hallway was unpleasant, a bit like mold. The rooms themselves are okay, nothing special, and the building looks very run-down from outside. It's fine if you just need to stay one night, but Hamburg has much nicer places.

The rooms were clean, and the cleaning staff were friendly and worked hard, but everything was still completely wet at the agreed arrival time. Check-in and checkout were smooth, and you could come and go from the rooms and building whenever you needed to. As a place to sleep, it just about does the job. The comfort level is zero, and it feels more like a bad hostel. The office rooms seem to have been converted carelessly. Some of the laminate floor was uneven, opening the windows was hit or miss, the curtains were too short for the windows, and the outlets were badly placed. The bathroom was tiny and bare, and keeping the shower at the right temperature meant constantly readjusting it. One bedroom even had a glass door. Since smoking was allowed by the windows, the rooms and beds stank of smoke. When I complained by phone, the woman was almost rude and seemed keen to get home for the weekend. The fire safety instructions looked like they came from a train station.
