HENRI Hotel Hamburg

The location is excellent, close to good restaurants, clothing shops, tourist attractions, and a subway station, in an area that feels welcoming to tourists. The bed linens, mattress, and pillows were comfortable, and the front desk service was friendly. The room had a coffee machine and kettle. Parking costs a fee, but it isn't expensive. The place is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.

We stayed twice in two different rooms and loved both. It's a fun, cool hotel, nicely designed with attention to detail, and the staff are caring. The German breakfast was amazing. One drawback: there are stairs up to the lobby and no elevator, which was tough with our heavy suitcases. People with mobility issues would have a hard time. Otherwise, a great hotel.

The lobby at Henri in Hamburg has a unique, cozy atmosphere that almost felt like home, and the location is fantastic. The room's welcoming massages have a sense of humor, the wifi is fast and works, and breakfast is very fine. We also loved the shared “maxibar” in the lobby, where guests are trusted to record their own consumption. This is HYGGE. Our only complaint was noise from the ventilation, but they switched it off the next night so we could sleep in silence. We'll be back 😁.

The view from the room may not be a selling point, so it might not be your first choice if that matters to you. I care more about cleanliness and working installations. Beyond the usual, the carefully chosen decorations and design details create a nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly, as in many hotels, but here you really feel welcome and at home.
