Dorint Hotel Hamburg-Eppendorf

We were sorry we’d booked only one night. The Suite was roomy and comfortable, with everything we needed, including coffee, tea, bottled water, slippers, and robes for the Sauna. Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of tasty choices, and my vegetarian wife was especially happy with the selection. From check-in onward, the hotel felt clean, welcoming, and relaxed, with a personal touch you don’t often get in a corporate-style place. The service was excellent throughout. We’ll be back.

I stay here for work because of the hotel’s location. The best part of each trip is Frederik at the bar, he can brighten anyone’s day. The pillows really need to be better, though.

I booked this business hotel for a work trip on the customer’s recommendation. The customer’s location was nearby, so I gave the location 8/10. Ambiance, check-in, checkout, and parking all got 8/10; the room was 7/10 and breakfast 8/10. Check-in was efficient, though impersonal. I’d recommend it, and might stay again.

The room had a little balcony, which we loved for getting fresh air, and it had AC, a real plus since not every place does. The hotel was in the area I needed, and was nicer than I’d expected from the tech-hotel sign out front. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced, and the staff spoke English, which helped us. The pillows were the thinnest I’ve ever had, and there was no refrigerator in our room. I didn’t book breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. The bar stays open until 11 pm, the kitchen closes at 9 pm, and there’s no room service.
