Romantik Hotel Villa Sayn

The staff were so friendly and helpful. At dinner, one gentleman took the time to explain and interpret the entire German menu for us. The white asparagus was delicious! My room was spotlessly clean and had a contemporary design that suited my taste. The bathroom was clean, the shower pressure was strong, and the hotel was very quiet. Even with jet lag, I slept wonderfully. I stayed one night on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the place was. It’s a very good place to spend your first night after arriving in the country. I hope I get the chance to return.

We booked a junior suite for €145 for one night, and it was definitely worth it. The room is bigger, and the price difference from a standard room isn’t that large. We went without breakfast, which is served only until 10 am. There was a Nespresso coffee machine in the room, and it was quite okay. Milk is available if you ask. There was no bathrobe or house shoes, though I’m convinced those are available on request. The shower and bathroom facilities are new, and the towels and sheets were super clean and fluffy. We had dinner at the in-house restaurant. I highly recommend the pasta with sage and shrimp, it was so, so yummy! The waiter was patient and helpful without pushing too much. A good stopover hotel in general. The butterfly garden nearby is super pretty, but it’s only open until 9 pm.

A small, stylish hotel with very high standards. For only a little extra, the upgraded room comes with its own sauna. The on-site restaurant is worth a try too. The menu is small, the prices are medium-high, and the dishes are high quality.
