The design was lovely, and the room felt both stylish and comfortable. I'd happily come back.

Being so close to the train station was handy, and the internet was good. The employee was friendly and clearly tried to help. I’d also asked for a room at the end of the hall, and got one. The room itself felt old and smelled of an old rug and stale smoke. The mattress had sagged so much that I slept in a hollow. There was only one outlet at the headboard, with none beside it, so my phone, watch, and iPad had to charge on the bed. The corner shower was so cramped that its curtain kept touching me, even though I'm not big or tall. Everything felt old and stripped down to the bare minimum. Breakfast was a joke: they said scrambled eggs weren't possible because they didn't have an industrial kitchen, and there was no cappuccino because, according to the receptionist, “the guests are too stupid to use the device.”

The rooms were clean and the location was great, but in summer they got incredibly hot and stuffy. There were a few standing fans, just not enough for everyone. After ten nights in Germany, these were easily the hottest rooms. I’m worried my wife will kill me before morning...

It's quiet and well placed in the city centre. But the mattresses were uncomfortable, and the pillows were oversized and poor quality. Breakfast was only medium quality. When we arrived, the staff were very unfriendly and didn't seem interested in helping us.
