The traffic coming from the campsite is a bit noisy during the day, but you can't hear it at night. The beach and promenade are only a five-minute walk away. We stayed in the spacious, well-equipped "Meeresrauschen" apartment, which had enough for four people. A few kitchen items were missing, but that wasn't a problem. It's highly recommended for a Baltic Sea break away from the crowds.

There are several restaurants along the way, a supermarket with a bakery on the street, and an Edeka 700 meters away. At the end of that street are the natural beaches, with beach chairs just 100 meters farther. The campsite is quiet, and it stayed peaceful even during peak season. The cliffs and Rerik, with its great hiking trails, are at the western end. We were unsure about the table in the hallway, but added a lamp and it made the place feel cozy. The apartments are very clean and tastefully furnished. They looked more austere in the photos, but are lovely in person. The building and interior have been completely renovated. It's truly just a four-minute walk to the beach. We'd love to come back!

The landlords were friendly, and the apartments were lovely and spacious. The beach is about a 3 to 5 minute walk away.
