Landhotel Pathes Hof

The grounds are cared for down to the little details, and the owners were so welcoming. They even sorted extra pillows and let us have breakfast outside when we asked. My granddaughter and I stayed in the maisonette apartment from August 15th to 17th. It was roomy and nicely furnished, and we didn't see any bugs or insects. We'd been a little worried after reading the earlier negative review, but none of those problems came up for us. Thanks for a lovely break, we'd gladly return.

Breakfast was straightforward but tasty, and they kept topping up the buffet. We spent a few days here and felt at ease. The hosts were really friendly.

The maisonette apartment is in a good spot and the outdoor area is lovely, but the apartment stayed very humid. Our towels hardly dried, and there were woodlice outside the bathroom too. I have photos documenting this. From July 9th to July 17th, 2025, we also had ground beetles constantly in the bathroom, an unpleasant smell, and an extremely loud Sanibroy (plumbing cleaner). I reported these issues to the landlord, but nothing was properly fixed. For €1000 for 8 nights, I expected much better cleanliness and comfort. I got defensiveness and even legal threats instead of a constructive response. To me, that showed no real willingness to take the problems seriously or improve things. The value for money was completely unacceptable. I'll also be reporting my experience to the consumer protection agency. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this accommodation.

The holiday apartment and rooms were neat and clean, and we felt at home. The staff and owners were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast can be served outside too. The country hotel is peaceful while still being central for activities, a good mix for a comfortable stay.
