The welcome feels personal, like being invited back to a home where every detail has been cared for over years. Antique wood, candlelight, silver trays, and crocheted lace create a calm, salon-like setting. Together with the warm, courteous service, it makes for a kind of quiet luxury that leaves you feeling nourished and soothed. This is a lovely place to see vegetarian food served with real substance and elegance.

The food was refined and authentic, and the friendly service made us feel like we were sharing a meal with good friends. The charming room has an almost time-travel feel to it. We were delighted and would love to return when we're in the area.

The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant itself is lovingly decorated with lots of detail. Sadly, the cooking didn't live up to the setting. We came for the Michelin-starred vegetarian menu, but the portions were tiny and the flavors mostly mediocre. The advertised cooking demonstration also turned out to mean the cooking class, which the website doesn't make clear. When we mentioned that, we got a very rude reply. “Customer is king” doesn't seem to count for the cooks.

The team's hospitality and the carefully prepared atmosphere made the evening feel special from start to finish. I tried Gabi Kurz's vegetarian cooking for the first time at the four-hand dinner with Ulrich Herrmann, and loved it. Every course had its own story, with a strong sense of home, the region, and familiarity. The food was top-notch, and the care showed in every detail. A wonderful experience, and one I can recommend. Thank you for such a memorable evening.
