Johanna was a lovely, welcoming hostess, spoke excellent English, and helped us figure out a few details about getting around berchtesgaden. Our room was lovely, with amazing views, and the stay felt truly magical. 5/5

We had a fab time. The hosts helped us with everything, the rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable, and breakfast was very nice. The alcohol ran on an honesty system, which worked great.

A proper cozy Austrian guest house, run by a nice family. The owner speaks fluent English and has some lovely stories. It's right below the Eagle's Nest. Was this helpful, or even funny? Give👍

The attentive staff make service a clear priority, and the rooms are clean with very comfortable beds. We loved the fantastic view, too. Breakfast is plentiful and offers lots of variety. This guesthouse is absolutely worth booking, and we'd happily stay again anytime.

I've stayed at Gästehaus Kropfleiten regularly for years, and I'm always happy to return. Perched above the salt mine parking lot, it has a fantastic, quiet setting and a sensational view of Watzmann. The rooms have all been renovated, are thoughtfully furnished, and are very clean. Breakfast is good and plentiful, though it isn't a huge hotel-style buffet. I feel very comfortable here. It's a warmly and lovingly run bed and breakfast.
