The owner was super sweet 😄. Breakfast was good, and it was a lovely, quiet spot in nice surroundings. There was a town square and a playground for kids nearby, which was great. A really good place to stay 👍

The bear theme throughout the rooms is lovely, and everything was very clean. Our host was professional and breakfast was very good. The location works well for visiting both Heide park and Salle.

The owner runs this lovely hotel garni with so much care and passion. She's incredibly kind and accommodating. It's simply fantastic, and I'd happily come back.

We visit the Bärenhaus every year for a relaxing weekend before heading on to Hamburg, and each stay over the past few years has been a pleasant surprise. It's always incredibly clean, and the owners are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful, with both hearty and sweet options. They can arrange things like musical tickets or breakfast in bed, and even found a way to accommodate larger groups. This time the landlady was away on vacation, so we met her husband as host for the first time. He was every bit as friendly and accommodating, and we had some great conversations. It's a wonderful place to unwind. We'll be back often.
