It’s very peaceful here, a nice choice for a calm vacation, with lots of scenic views and very good room facilities. The owners are friendly and helpful. Thank you Michel for taking such good care of the place. The service is great, and this feels like something that gives back to the community, not just a business. If you’re using public transport, plan around the buses. The nearest train station is about 2.5km away, and it’s a nice walk if you decide to go on foot.

The Dangl family made us feel very welcome, and the accommodations were perfect. We had a wonderful experience. Bergen was ideally located for touring western Austria, the Obersalzberg, and southern Bavaria. We celebrated our 35th anniversary there and hope to return.

The village is about a 10-minute walk away, with nice restaurants and midgetgolf. There’s lots to do around here, too. We booked a really comfortable apartment in a beautiful area for our family, and the kids loved having a trampoline. The Wi-Fi was very good.

We stayed for roughly a week, and communication with Ms. Dangl was pleasant and easy. The fresh air from the nearby farms was lovely. Our Hochgern apartment had a living area, bedroom, and bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. There was no Wi-Fi, unfortunately, and the rooms were quite noisy.

The owners were really nice, and dogs are welcome. The new kitchen was great and had everything we needed, though our room felt a bit dated and worn. The couch was much too small and hard. It was an okay stay, and there are beautiful hiking trails nearby. The guesthouse is centrally located.
