The food was lovely and the atmosphere was great. I went with my daughter, and they were so accommodating. She was even allowed to pet the rabbits outside. A lovely place for a family.

We came back for the breakfast buffet with 10 guests. It was spread out really well, and we spent two hours eating all we wanted. Earlier, my wife and I had visited Gradierwerk /Cafe Garden in September. The staff were new but still friendly, the food was great, and the garden looked fantastic. On that Tuesday afternoon there was a live music group, which made the day perfect. We'd love to visit again soon. During Covid, the restaurant was only doing takeout, so it needed plenty of guests to avoid having to close. A super place for takeout, with friendly service.

The service was extremely good, and the place was very clean. The food was deliciously cooked. A must-visit hotel, better than anything you could find in the Bergen area.

The Heuers run a café, restaurant, and four double rooms at this historic site. The restaurant seats 150 and fills up for special events, while coffee guests come in too. It also used to attract many of the more than 12,000 British army personnel and their families stationed at Bergen-Belsen. I arrived late at night, but Herr Heuer opened up for me and showed me a secure spot to leave my bicycle overnight. My room was spacious and quiet, with two separate beds, a large bathroom, and a balcony. The generous double room and ample breakfast cost €68. Payment was by cash or debit card only.

We'd love to eat here again the next time we're in the region. Lovely place and great service.
