Everything was very clean, and the bathroom had plenty of toiletries. Drinks were available at normal prices. The woman at the front desk, who also handled breakfast in the morning, was incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend the place. I want it. My only complaint is that the room was a bit cold and the beds were somewhat uncomfortable. The pillows and blankets, though, were very nice.

The place looks really nice, and I'd still recommend the hotel, but today's service left a bad impression. The website says reception is available from 8am to 6pm. I called more than 11 times from a little after 4pm and got no answer. At first it rang for a few seconds before going to voicemail, then around 5pm and afterward it went straight there, as if the phone lines had been switched off. I also tried the mobile number on the website, with the same result: it rang without an answer, then went straight to voicemail after 5pm. That felt very unprofessional. Even if there had been a technical problem, which I don't believe was the case since the phone rang for a while before 5pm, they could have said so before the voicemail beep. The website seems misleading. I can't give this place more than two stars, though I can't give it one star either. Service is the cherry on top, and without it the experience isn't worth it. I'll try staying here another time, but this has left me with a very bad impression of the hotel's service.

The welcome was friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was great. The rooms are lovely and well appointed, some with French doors and a terrace. It's one of the nicer small hotels I've stayed in. If life brings you to Bergisch Gladbach, this is an excellent place to stay.

I stayed here on a business trip. It's a small, quiet, very well maintained hotel, with perfect equipment and a really great Internet connection. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, honestly the nicest I've encountered on my frequent travels. I recommend it to anyone.
