The room and bathroom were really comfortable, and parking was easy. It’s a calm area and a great place to rest after a long drive through Europe. Self check in is handy if you arrive after reception hours. Just keep in mind that breakfast starts quite late on weekends.

My second floor room had a great view. The place was very clean, and the pool was nice, though closing at 21:00 feels too early if you get in late. Breakfast was okay, nothing special.

Breakfast was wunderbar, and there’s a basement pool for a splash around. The hotel offers good quality and great service, with nice views and birdsong in the morning to wake you up. End of.

The food is awesome, and the views over the whole town are beautiful. The employees were attentive. The rooms are a bit stretched out, but fine for a business trip. Recommended 100%.

Near Bergneustadt, Phoenix hotel is along the way up to the aussichturm. Walk number "11" goes around the town for just 12 kms. It’s very scenic and a manageable walk in November.
