The people were friendly and reasonable, and it was nice to support a local family by staying here. It's a quiet place and handy if you have work to do in Bergrheinfeld. The hotel is basic and old, though the rooms were clean. Breakfast was just bread rolls with cheese and ham, which was fine for us, but 5€ / person felt like too much for what was offered. There's a Chinese restaurant across the street with good food and portions. The hotel doesn't have still water, so if you're thirsty you'll need to buy some at Lidle next door.

The stay was unpleasant, and it felt far too expensive for what you get. The rooms are clean and have a little fridge, but they're totally outdated. There's no hairdryer, and the hotel's internet won't support streaming. The front desk was unfriendly. The guy there seemed bothered by guests, especially when you asked a question. It was very noisy: the doors shake, and you can hear the shower next door loud and clear. There was only one pillow.
