The entrance code gave us trouble when we arrived. We’ve had that happen with Numa before, so it wasn’t a surprise, but dealing with it after a long journey with a small child made things harder. The mismatch between the apartment and its advertised photos was also striking. We started wondering whether families sometimes get lower-standard units. I hope that’s not what’s happening, but the difference was hard to miss. The bathroom was the most concerning part. There was visible mold in the shower corners and along the sealing, which is unacceptable. A sign asked us to open the windows and use the extractor hood while cooking, but there was no hood installed. We paid around €200 per night expecting the standard shown in the photos. Instead, the apartment was worn and in poor condition, with scuffed walls, an old-feeling interior, and an extremely basic kitchen. Nothing against IKEA, but this felt like the cheapest setup possible, not a serviced apartment experience. We’d stayed at Numa in Berlin several times before and had always been happy, which made this stay at Numa Belfort especially disappointing. We’ve genuinely liked NUMA in the past, so this was a surprise. Now we’re reconsidering booking again. I hope management looks into the condition of these apartments and reaches out, because this location doesn’t match the usual Numa standard.
