Adlernest Pension

My friend rents here long-term, so I stayed with them and can't speak to the price, though it's apparently typical for Berlin. The room was small, around 10 square meters, but had a comfy bed and its own bathroom. There's a bit of a youth hostel feel, and the place already feels cozy and modernized, even though the interior work isn't quite done and there are drop cloths in the stairwell. Internet was available. The transport links are excellent, and the airport and everyday conveniences are close by. There's a shopping arcade, snack bar, and 24-hour petrol station all within a five-minute walk. It was quite alright as it is, and once the construction is finished, I can see it becoming a very good hostel or workers' accommodation.

They've done a lot of work here lately, and everyone was very friendly. The courtyard could look a little better, but it's not a big deal.

So central, with excellent connections for getting around. A great place to stay.
