We were really happy with our stay. It’s a peaceful neighborhood, with a local center nearby where you can buy everything. Berlin Hbf is about 30 minutes away by taxi. We had a Berlin welcome card for 48h and used public transport during our visit. In the mornings they provide croissants, plus unlimited coffee, hot chocolate, and tea.

The building and apartments are okay, and some of the renovated ones look nicer. The location is quiet and reachable by several buses, but the service falls short. Reception is open only at certain times, and just ONE person handled check-in while many people waited. Our room was clean, but we never got fresh toilet paper or towels. The elevator was the worst part: it was out of order half the time, even though our apartment was on the third floor and we had a baby and stroller. We told management, but little changed. Breakfast isn’t worth the price.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, but the kitchen had very few cooking supplies, with no utensils and only 2 pots. The complex has lots of free parking, and being on Berlin’s outskirts makes it easier to arrive by car. Front desk hours are very limited, from 16:00-20:00. We arrived after hours and called ahead for the lock box code to get the key. That part was straightforward, since the check-in machine wasn’t working. We had to leave at 9:30am the next day, before the desk opened, so I tracked down a cleaning maid to hand over the key card and registration form to check out.

Good value for the price, with an easy entrance and large rooms. There aren’t many dishes in the apartments, but there’s enough for a stay of a few days. Lots of parking spaces in the yard.

We stayed for 4 days as a family of 3 and had a very pleasant time. I had a car, and parking didn’t cost anything. I drove into downtown, where I could park for around 2 euros per hour. The place is about 2 kms from most things you might need, like a supermarket, pharmacy, or restaurants. I’d definitely recommend it and will stay there again when I return to Berlin.
