The price was good, but our room was ice cold. The WiFi sucked, and it was pretty noisy.

I found the staff quick and friendly, and the room had decent furniture. The location isn't one of Berlin's best, though the Spree, some pleasant spots, and the main station are nearby. During the Berlin half-marathon, the Apple City still had rooms at a reasonable rate. My room was noisy, and the windows had no curtains to block the light. Along with the frequently mentioned tiny bathroom, that meant my night ended far too early. I wouldn't book again because of that.

The room had a pleasant garden view and was nicely equipped. We were on the top floor, though, and the big windows made it heat up like a greenhouse. The AC couldn't really cool it down. The hotel is in a quiet, lovely part of Berlin, with plenty of shops and places to eat close by. It's about a 15-minute walk to the train into the city centre. Staff were friendly all through our stay and happy to answer our questions.

It was quiet at night, and I had a comfortable stay. Getting around was easy, with tram and bus stops right beside the hotel and several good places to eat nearby. The room came with a small bed, a few drawers, towels, and other basics. Its attached bathroom was really tiny. The walls were thin enough that you could hear people talking outside.
