I stayed at B&B Hotel Berlin in June of this year and accidentally left a valuable personal item in my room, a torch worth more than 100 euros. On my current trip to Berlin, I went to the hotel in person on October 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to try to get it back or at least find out what had happened. There was nobody at reception when I arrived, so I waited about three minutes. The receptionist on duty then treated me very poorly and unprofessionally. They showed no willingness to help or empathy, mocked my situation, and dismissively told me “good luck” with my complaint. I find it unacceptable that guests' belongings can disappear without explanation, and that the hotel doesn't keep or record lost items regardless of how much time has passed. This raises concerns that employees might be keeping things guests leave behind. I request an investigation and whatever measures are needed to prevent this happening again. I would also appreciate a formal response about the lost and found policy and the staff member's behavior.

The desk staff were rude, and the room needed a proper clean. We even bought cleaning wipes at Aldi. The shower was broken and leaked badly. They also charge £20 euros for a kettle or extra pillows, and breakfast wasn’t worth the money, so you could get two breakfasts across the road at a cafe or Starbucks for the price of one here. If you just need a base, speak German, and don’t mind the basics, it can be good value. Otherwise, bring more money or book a premium room, since the cheaper room was small and faced a wall.

The room was just 13° C when I arrived, and the heating barely helped. After 90 minutes of freezing, I asked to move and the other room was at least 18 °C. Worst hotel ever in Berlin. The rating system doesn’t even let me give it zero stars...

For the price, the room was perfectly usable. I slept comfortably, and it was clean, with a strong shower. My only issues were having two single duvets on a double bed and needing to enter a long code to get into the room instead of using a key card.

The prices are affordable, and the location is what I liked most. One of my best stays in Berlin. I’d recommend this hotel.
