The staff were super friendly, and the metro is so close it's really convenient. It's a family-run hotel, and the outside is very cute. I heard the breakfast was great, though I didn't try it. Three stars from me because the beds weren't comfortable at all, which matters most to me in a hotel. There's no elevator, and the Wi-Fi was really bad, at least on the fourth floor where my room was.

I booked for the Saturday nofx concert and would definitely return, maybe to do some sightseeing. Spandu is a lovely, picturesque area, and the weekend price was reasonable. The room had a TV, fridge and shower, plus a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was the usual healthy European style, so you'll eat well. Can't fault the place.

Transit in West Berlin is easy to reach from here, and there's plenty of culture nearby. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast runs from 6 to 10. There's no AC, but it wasn't hot even with 76F outside; fans and extra pillows are available if you ask. The shower is a bit small but nice. Good hotel for the price and location, and a good experience overall.

The neighborhood is picturesque and makes a nice break from the rest of the city, while the train takes only a few minutes to reach the center. The owners were decent, friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome with useful information. My room was traditional and clean, with a feel that brought to mind a more thoughtful, modest period in the city's history.

What made our stay at Hotel Benn memorable was the warm, family-like hospitality. The facilities are nice, though they didn't particularly impress me. Hotel Benn may be a 3-star place, but the service felt like 5-star. If I get the chance to visit Berlin again, it'll definitely be near the top of my hotel list.
