Berlin City Wilmersdorf Hotel

The U-Bahn is close by, so getting around is quick and easy. I stayed here at the beginning of December and everything was perfect. The room and bathroom were clean, and there were enough towels for everything.

Spicherstraße U-Bahn station is just around the corner, a few seconds away, with the U3 and U9 for connecting to the rest of the city. Use exit D to come out right by the hotel. The place itself is spacious and modern, with a bar, restaurant, sofas, and ground-floor hangout areas. Staff were friendly, spoke German and English, and helped with several requests. My room was roomy, with a very comfortable king-sized bed. There was a kettle with tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. The clothes storage was the one letdown, barely enough for one person. The bathroom was great, with a large shower and very strong water pressure. It had an all-in-one hair and body wash, plus hand soap by the sink.

There are good restaurants nearby, and the area felt safe. It’s also close to a playground, which is handy for families with small children. The hotel is a few blocks from Kurfürstendamm and right beside the U-Bahn, with connections to Berlin’s main landmarks. The lobby was clean and the room was well maintained. Room service was great when requested, and I liked that it only came on request, so there’s no need to worry about staff coming in while you’re relaxing. The staff were friendly too.

Parking is free beside the hotel from 22.00-9.00; outside those hours there’s paid underground parking. The hotel is very nice for the price, with modern rooms and bathrooms that don’t feel worn out. The staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend it.
