I was in Berlin for the marathon, so being near the route and public transport worked out perfectly. The room was simple but spotless, with a comfy bed and a hot shower. I barely used the co-living amenities since I was out most of the time, though they seemed handy to have. The staff were especially great: I never met them in person, but they were always quick and helpful over email or text.

I spent 10 nights in early June 2024 in a bright, clean, quiet top-floor studio and would happily return to Kerlin. The neighborhood felt safe, and restaurants, bars, parks, shops, and small grocery stores were easy to reach on foot. Fruit, pastries, tea, and an espresso machine in the lobby were a nice extra. The train stations took a longer walk than at some nearby hotels, and I didn't see an elevator, so the stairs are worth keeping in mind, though there are rooms on the main floor. This is a good fit if you're comfortable with self check-in and an unstaffed lobby at times. The friendly staff were reachable by email or text when I needed help. One more thing: many shops close on Sundays or shut early, so plan ahead.

My wife and her two colleagues were very pleased with their stay, especially with how clean everything was. Their Salon Zimmer had a small kitchen, comfortable beds, and a fully equipped bathroom with a good shower. There was also a coffee machine and kettle, with plenty of coffee capsules and tea. The room was exceptionally spotless, so the service score reflects that, as they didn't use other services. Check-in is done at the lobby kiosk, even though there is a reception desk; it was a simple way to get the room key. The hotel is near Kurfurstendamm, with plenty of restaurants, coffee bars, and shops, and there are interesting places to eat on the side streets too. Breakfast isn't served at the hotel. Baeckermann across the street sells sandwiches and similar items, but for breakfast you need to go to another nearby restaurant.

There are bakeries, cafes, and restaurants nearby, and I could take a bus from the stop close by to Zoo main train station in three stops, or walk to the nearest S Bahn. Getting around was easy enough. I had a micro room, but it still felt quite roomy, with a comfortable bed, desk, wardrobe, drawers, chair, hairdryer, and the basics. It was quiet and restful. The lobby coffee machine and tea were handy, and there was fruit and packaged pastry available too.

I really liked the neighborhood, and having a bakery right across the street was nice. The hotel was cozy, the rooms and beds were super clean, and the staff were helpful. I just wish I'd found it at the start of my trip. I'd definitely recommend it to my friends.
