Classik Hotel Alexander Plaza

This was our second stay, and it was a pleasure again despite a few problems. The room was spacious, with big windows, comfortable furniture and a comfortable bed. Staff were caring and competent, and the extras suited a hotel of this standing. But the room clearly hadn't been checked properly before we arrived. A curtain had come off its rail, letting in light at night. The lighting was faulty: the bedside lights wouldn't work separately from the main control, and the main lights were too bright with no way to dim them. On our last day the toilet blocked and wouldn't flush. Reception tried to sort these things out, but none were fixed during our stay, which was disappointing. Still feels like our home from home in Berlin.

A quiet, great location and a modern, very clean hotel. Our room was lovely and spacious, with a nice en suite. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely come back when we're in Berlin.

We came as a couple for a weekend and were really impressed by the Classik's quality and value for money. The beds were comfortable, the showers had good pressure, and the room was clean with tea and coffee facilities. Service was great, and Tom in the bar was a great guy. Perfect location, good facilities, and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Our room was huge and spotlessly clean, with a massive bed so comfortable I forgot where I was! The breakfast selection was very good, and the friendly, helpful staff made us feel welcome. It's a great base for attractions, with public transport very close by. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to others.
