Come Inn Berlin Kurfürstendamm

We stayed three nights and really liked the location. There's a bus stop right outside, but it's far enough away that the noise wasn't a problem. The rooms are basic, and as a tall person I found the fixed shower difficult to use. The view from the room was lovely, as was the rooftop view during breakfast.

The rooftop view from the breakfast area is spectacular, but the breakfast itself was disappointing. The eggs were blah, and the overall quality wasn't what I'd expect from a usual German breakfast. The rooms are okay, nothing special, and the AC works but could be colder. Sometimes we had to check whether it was still on. Still, the price and great location are what make this place worth four or five stars, especially for what it costs.

We were in Berlin for business and ended up having to go to work in creased clothes. There was no iron anywhere in the building. They said this was because of fire safety, which sounds like utter BS to me. It's the first hotel I've stayed at in Berlin, Germany, or anywhere else in the world with that restriction. There was no coffee-making facility in the room either. A very disappointed customer, and I wouldn't recommend or return to this hotel.

The location is awesome, with lots of nice restaurants nearby. The hotel could use a refresh, though: repaint it and take up the rugs in favor of flooring. All in all, I guess it's good value for the money.
