Delta Pension

A good little hotel, with rooms that were clean and bright.

Really nice, and clean too.

The walls are thin enough that I could hear people chatting outside and in other rooms practically every night. It was oddly quiet overall, and we seemed to be almost the only guests. For a 2-star hotel, Delta has nice rooms and a delicious breakfast, though it's not a good pick for anyone on a tight budget. Getting a proper bill took repeated requests, so we settled for a receipt. It didn't mention "Delta" or anything similar, but at least we weren't charged twice, as apparently happened to others.

At checkout, they asked us to pay the bill again even though we had prepaid. Our booking required full payment on the day we made it, and the card was charged the correct amount for two nights. We chose prepayment specifically to avoid hassles like this, and it meant no credit card authorization was required. He still insisted we pay again after we showed proof. We refused and left, then the hotel told the booking website we'd never arrived. No registration forms are filled out at check-in, so there's no legally valid paperwork if you need to dispute anything. It's a real shame, because at first glance it seemed like a great, simple hotel for the price. The owner is a fraudster and a rip-off artist. Avoid the "Delta"!
