Downtown Apartments Berlin Mitte Wedding

The apartment itself was fantastic: lots of space, clean, two bathrooms, a good sized living room, plenty of kitchenware, and even a vacuum in the closet. There’s also self serve laundry on site at no extra charge, and the staff were on point. The subway is a short walk away. Just be aware that everything is closed on Sundays. We got some drinks and snacks at a Circle K about a ten minute walk down the road. My concerns were about the area and how far it was from the things I wanted to do. The subway ride wasn’t bad, but I would’ve preferred somewhere closer to downtown. On a Berlin map, anywhere in the southern half would be more convenient, though probably pricier. The area wasn’t great either: graffiti everywhere, large groups of men hanging around, and a shocking amount of litter. We didn’t feel unsafe exactly, but we were uncomfortable. There’s a bar downstairs, and one night it was fairly loud on the first floor, though not terrible. I’d possibly stay again because it’s a lot of space for a great price. If a similar place in the southern area cost 50% more, I’d consider this one. If the price difference were small, I’d probably choose another area. The hotel itself was fantastic, with no complaints from me about it specifically.

The ginger tea is worth trying. It was the most concentrated and cleansing one I’ve tasted. The design was beautiful, the stay was comfortable, and the staff were the friendliest and most professional. We had a wonderful time and plan to return.

The apartment had plenty of space and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Shops and restaurants are close by, and public transport is within walking distance. We could also rent a parking spot to keep our car safe during the trip. Communication with the hotel was excellent. The neighborhood can seem a bit run down and unsafe at first, but once you get used to it, it’s not too bad.

The unit was a lovely surprise: beautifully decorated, very clean, and the fold out bed was already made up for my daughter. It had everything we needed, and there was a grocery store nearby. We arrived after reception had closed, and the self check-in took us a minute to figure out, but the stay was great. I was taken aback by the neighborhood when we arrived. It’s close to the U-Bahn, but there were police everywhere and large groups congregating, which worried me a little. We didn’t run into any problems, though we never felt completely comfortable. That’s not the apartment’s fault, and I would stay there again.
