Hotel Elba am Kurfürstendamm - Design Chambers

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good. It was usually a buffet with lots of options; when only a few guests were there, they served it high tea style. The shower had great water pressure. I prefer this kind of hotel to the big chains, and this one has its own character. The rooms have high ceilings and all the trimmings. Recommended.

The room was a little small, especially the bathroom, but the bedding was changed every day and the view over the 'Innenhof' was lovely. The hotel sits beside one of Berlin's biggest lanes, with great shops, restaurants, and other places nearby. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, though it wasn't always as fresh as I'd have liked. The coffee was delicious.

A small, cute hotel in a fantastic location, with very friendly staff. Service is limited, so it suits independent travellers who don't plan to spend much time at the hotel. My room was okay, but the towels and linens were very worn.

The staff were friendly, communication with management was great, and breakfast buffet was excellent. Our room was clean, though its carpet felt pretty rough and the shower was small. Even with those downsides, we had a great stay in Berlin.
