The hostel felt very safe, with a security person always in the common areas keeping things calm and organized. I appreciated that a lot. The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious, and there was room at the sides of the beds for personal belongings, which made things feel more organized and practical. Yamile🇨🇴🤍 was especially kind and helpful with my luggage and made sure everything was looked after. I haven’t had that kind of help in many other places. I felt comfortable and well cared for, and had a very good experience. I definitely recommend it.

The breakfast was the one decent thing, adequate but probably not great value. You could eat better for less elsewhere. The rooms were okay, but the windows don’t open, so you have to rent a fan to get any ventilation. The staff were utterly incompetent, nobody seemed to know what was going on, and the service was bad, bad, bad, bad. This is the worst place I’ve stayed, even compared with hostels in India, Kenya, Malawi, and Nigeria. Avoid it if you can. It’ll ruin your trip and leave you angry and depressed.

There was a DJ outside playing music that fit the lively atmosphere perfectly, and we really enjoyed the performance. Big thanks to the DJ! The people were friendly, and the hostel is in a really nice area with a great location. It’s easy to find transport to anywhere in the city. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

It’s a good budget option at a&o Hotels Berlin Mitte, in a convenient spot with easy transport access. Rooms are simple but clean and fine for a short stay, as long as you’re not expecting luxury.
