Breakfast had plenty of good options, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and equipped with the basics, though they’re on the small side. Mine faced the back, where another large building blocked the view. The hotel sits right across from Berlin’s main train station, which made getting around easy. It’s modern and tech-focused, with automated check-in and other processes. Most of the decor is black, so that may not suit everyone.

I felt unsafe in my own room, which is unacceptable. At 9:00 AM on February 12, 2026, someone opened my door without knocking or speaking while I was still in bed. I had the “No cleaning needed” sign clearly hanging on the handle. I shouted “Excuse me!” and the person shut the door right away. By the time I got dressed and looked in the hallway, they were gone. I’m sharing this to warn other travelers, especially women traveling alone. I asked the cleaners on my floor about it, but they said nobody had opened my door. At the front desk, staff refused to show me the CCTV footage, saying German law allows them to show it only when police are present. I had to check out that day, so I couldn’t wait for a police investigation. I’ve asked the hotel to send me a formal follow-up email about its internal investigation. The hotel says staff always knock, but that didn’t happen here. This was a serious failure of safety.

The coffee situation was the one small blemish on an otherwise perfect stay. After the first two pods, you have to pay €1.50 for each extra one. Is it worth short-changing guests over a few euros? Still, the hotel was stylish, the service pretty decent, and the location fantastic. I’d strongly recommend it.

I like that this is a self-service hotel, and the beds are really comfortable. Berlin Central Station is right across the street, making it an excellent base. Breakfast costs 19€ and is substantial.
