Hotel-Pension Sickinger Hof

A good, fairly clean room and a comfortable, clean bed. This is one of the cheaper places in the city, so don’t expect luxury. There was no soap in the bathroom, and one cup had cigarette dirt in it. Other guests were loud until 23:00 every day, and I could smell cigarette smoke even though it’s a non-smoking hotel. Parking was secure, convenient, and cheap, and the internet was fast enough. The area was quiet, with lots of food options. If you just need somewhere to sleep without extras, it’ll do.

I wasn’t expecting much from a budget hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, the staff were helpful and went out of their way for us, and public transport was nearby, making it easy to get into the city. For an extra 5 Euros, they washed and dried our clothes and left them in the room. Next time, I’ll book an en-suite.

Small room, but very clean, and a good deal for the money. The hotel is handy for transport to and from the airport and city centre. Breakfast is included, though it’s the same food every day with no choice, which gets a bit boring. A good option if you just need a place to sleep. I recommend it.

Ekaterina was so friendly and sweet with us. The room was always clean and well prepared, and breakfast was lovely and warm each morning, thanks to her great experience in the hotel business. I really enjoyed my stay at this wonderful hotel. It was my first time in Berlin and my best experience there. I enjoyed it so much that I’ll come back, of course, only to Ekaterina. Thank you!
