Even arriving late at night, I found my room ready and check-in was easy. The hotel was also straightforward to reach and close to Messe Berlin. My room was clean, cozy, and nicely furnished. The bathroom was small but spotless and did what I needed. Soundproofing could be better, since I woke up to breakfast being prepared in the breakfast room. I’d stay again.

Getting around locally is easy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure staying here. This owner-run independent boutique hotel has lovely gardens and comfortable outdoor seating. Inside, the antique furniture, sculptures, and art make the place a treat to look at in every direction.

I arrived in Berlin lost, and it was getting late when I ended up coming into this hotel. Kristien, one of the staff, spoke excellent English and helped me find a taxi service to the right destination. The place looked nice and the staff were fab. If I’m back in Berlin, I’ll stay here. Cheers.

There isn’t much else nearby, so a lounge or small beer garden would be a welcome addition. The hotel also has no A/C; a good standing oscillating fan would be wonderful. There’s a perfect spot out back for a swimming pool, which would be superb. The rooms themselves were spotless and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom that was big enough. It’s a funny old hotel, and the staff are extremely nice and do what they can to make your stay pleasant.

Our room had air-conditioning at no extra charge. We booked by email and paid before arriving. Breakfast cost 15€ per person and included eggs, ham, sausages, vegetables, and more. It’s a nice hotel very close to Berlin’s Olympic stadion, and everything was fine.
