From the terrace, breakfast on the 16th floor comes with a spectacular panorama on a clear day. Higher-floor rooms can also have a magnificent view if you’re lucky. I couldn’t get enough of it. Breakfast is highly recommended. The transport links were great for me. The S-Bahn gets you to Berlin city centre quickly, and the bus is even faster for Spandau Town Hall and the beautiful Old Town. The rooms had functional modern furnishings and were impressively clean. They were a pleasant place to stay, especially for business travel, and I thought the value for money was unbeatable. The amenities were very good overall, though there was no body lotion. Management seems attentive to feedback, so I’m confident they’ll take the suggestion into account. The service focus and overall impression make me happy to return.

The hotel is across the street from the train station, making the commute easy. It’s about 14 stops, or roughly 25 minutes on the local S3, from the grand central train station. Spandau town center is a 10 minute walk away. The hotel was comfortable, and I had a fantastic experience. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. There’s no air conditioning, though there is a fan, and the TV has mostly German speaking channels. I recommend this hotel.

I don’t know how this hotel gets good reviews. The carpets were stained and gross, and there was no hot water when it was -8 outside. There’s nothing close by, so they charge £3.50 for a small bottle of water. Honestly, just skip it.

The staff were very friendly and kind. My room was clean and comfortable. The view from it was a little confusing, but I enjoyed the stay a lot.
