The location made my stays easy, and the hotel was consistently clean, organized, and welcoming. I returned regularly for five months, sometimes every week and sometimes every couple of weeks, and the experience stayed excellent throughout. The rooms were practical but cozy. I appreciated having a microwave and kettle, sometimes both, since those little things matter when you're staying often. The team is what really stayed with me. Receptionists were always kind and welcoming, and I felt appreciated whenever I came back. Check-in and check-out were quick, and questions or requests were handled promptly and professionally. I came to value the hotel's consistency, trustworthiness, and reliability. It's rare to find that steady quality and warmth. I'm grateful for the hospitality and would gladly recommend Hotel Goldmarie to anyone staying in Berlin.

The shower only worked with the small handheld head, and both beds were uncomfortable and heavily stained. One was small and the other larger, but they both felt old. We had booked a studio, though our first room had no kitchen and a broken bed. They moved us to a bigger room with a kitchen afterward. At over €80 a night, I expected working facilities and beds I could sleep on.

No elevator, and street noise can be a problem on the side facing the road, so earplugs are a good idea. Still, the room was decent for the price, with a little kitchen and fridge, and it felt more private than a hostel. Public transport is close by. I had a good stay and would recommend it.

The tram outside runs all day and night, so a room facing the main road is very noisy. The hotel is near a train station and underground, but the surrounding area felt filthy, and I saw people taking drugs there. Inside, the bathroom was dirty, with cracked tiles and a horrible smell from the waste pipes. Our tiny room was badly furnished, and the stained beds were uncomfortable. The place was filthy, and staff couldn't even be bothered to answer a good morning. I would never recommend it.

The location worked well for Uber Arena and the metro, and the price felt fair for what we got. Staff were really friendly, and they went out of their way to sort out something I'd left behind. A perfectly good hotel.
