The apartment was bright, lovely, and spotlessly clean, with fresh bed linen and towels. Our balcony had a great view, and the location made it easy to get around. There’s a well-stocked supermarket down the street, and we could walk to Checkpoint Charlie, the west wall and museum, Brandenburg gate, and restaurants. My husband and I are both in our sixties and managed to walk a lot because Berlin is so flat. There’s also a nearby u ban station and bus stop if you don’t want to walk. We were in Berlin for five days and LOVED our stay. I’d highly recommend it to family and friends, and if I’m ever lucky enough to return, I’ll absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Greici, for all your kindness and help, and A&B for a wonderful Berlin visit. It was our first time visiting Berlin and our first time renting an apartment like this. I was a little nervous about check-in and getting the keys, but it all worked brilliantly. We got a message saying we could arrive early, which was great after traveling overnight. Greici met us at the check-in point and showed us the apartment in a building across the road. He explained the two sets of keys and the elevator. We were on the seventh floor. There was a big bed and lockers at one end, with a living and dining area at the other. The kitchen was compact but fully functional and well equipped, with a toaster, kettle, full hob, full oven, and fridge, plus plenty of pots, pans, and crockery. I’d only planned to make breakfast, but was pleasantly surprised they’d also left washing-up liquid, dish towels, tea, coffee, pepper, salt, and some toiletries in the bathroom. The bathroom was bright and clean too. Regards, Marylin and David Barry (Ireland).

The whole building felt dirty and broken, and the apartment was pretty filthy too. I’m not even sure it had been cleaned. There were no clean kitchen essentials, the Wi-Fi kept dropping and was too slow to open a Google page, and the shower swung randomly between hot and cold, burning our skin. The apartment door took about ten minutes to open each time. The elevator worked when the guy first showed us the apartment, then stopped working altogether. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Berlin.

This was the worst apartment I’ve used in 24 countries of travel. I booked months ahead, but when my wife and I arrived, we were taken from the address on the booking confirmation across the block to a different apartment. They called it ours, but it wasn’t what we’d booked. We had to go through a dodgy building and elevator, and when I complained, they deliberately delayed responding. The apartment they assigned was dirty, badly maintained, and in very poor condition. The building felt unsafe in the evening because there was no working light as you came up the elevator. On several occasions, we caught people sent by the business lingering outside the front door. This was the worst accommodation and check-in experience I’ve ever had. Stay FAR away from this business. Update, 6 Oct 2025, in response to feedback: I can’t believe it took you two years to reply to my complaint, only to give a generic excuse. I still have the messages and complaints. There was no maintenance. You blatantly charged me a premium and put me in a horrible 1-star apartment. When I raised it with your business, you flatly refused it and offered no alternative. Changing your "reason" now is VERY disingenuous.

The room itself was fine, but the service was hostile. They spent days bothering me about a payment I’d already made to booking.com. Eventually they accepted that I had paid booking.com and that the issue was between them and booking.com, which I’d told them repeatedly. They kept ignoring that and trying to make it my problem. They also wanted €30 to leave the key in a keybox. On our last day, they tried to make us leave early because they’d already booked the cleaning, even though we planned to sleep in and have a slow breakfast. They said checkout was at the time they wanted us out, but both booking.com and the apartment listed a different time. I repeatedly tried to discuss it with them, but they just kept sending versions of the same message: "Check-out is at 10, thank you for your understanding". Instead of enjoying my stay, I spent time worrying about the payment beforehand and arguing about checkout at the end. The shower was barely a trickle. This was easily the worst place I’ve ever stayed.
