Kantestrasse is a lovely part of Charlottenburg, with loads of great restaurants, bars, jazz clubs, and shops nearby.

This small square and the surrounding district in western Berlin are a nice spot for an evening walk, a meetup, or a meal. There are plenty of lively, pleasant restaurants and cafés, with all kinds of food, from Spanish tapas to Italian trattoria.

The small local shops have friendly, cheerful owners, and you can get postcards cheaply here, unlike in touristy Alexanderplatz. In the park, there are lots of benches, though they’re often taken by afternoon and evening. It’s one of my favorite places in Berlin for a stroll, usually quiet apart from the occasional couple or family walking around.
