The location suited me because it was close to friends' apartment, and the price was low. But I booked a terrace apartment and was given the most basic room instead. It had no terrace and looked nothing like the photos. There was dust on the lamps and spiderwebs in the corners. The bathroom sink leaked as soon as I used it, and the air extractor was broken, running for more than 5-10 minutes without switching off. The bed was a normal size, but it was made from two smaller beds that separated when I lay in the middle. The room's poor acoustics meant I could hear the subway through the bed and into my pillow at 6 a.m. The shower shampoo was nearly empty on my first use. I'd expect a fresh room to have a new bottle, or at least one that's half full or has a replacement ready. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The low price surprised me for a supposed “luxury” terrace apartment, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I've stayed in many hotels around the world, and this was the worst for service. I had a terrible experience, especially with the manager, Jessica. In my view, she doesn't deserve to be a manager because her behavior was rude and she didn't know how to resolve customer issues. I definitely won't be coming back.

There are plenty of restaurants and markets around the hotel, so finding food and shopping is easy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything you might need in the kitchen, and there's also a laundry room and ironing facilities. The hotel is in a busy central area, close to the metro and within walking distance of historic sites. It suited either a holiday or a business trip and made for a very comfortable stay.

The staff were very cooperative, and when street noise bothered me, they changed my room to one on the opposite side, which was very calm. The apartments are cosy, private, and safe, with good facilities, and the location is good. The heater fins do need cleaning or servicing, though.
