The staff were warm and understanding, which meant a lot in a difficult situation. The guesthouse at the UKB is right by the hospital grounds, a real help for families of patients. Rooms are quiet and clean, with everything needed to feel at home. It's thoughtfully designed and comfortable, and I can recommend it to anyone needing to stay near the hospital. Many thanks to the whole team for their attentive, kind service.
Set among trees, the rooms feel secluded and peaceful, away from the crowds at the UKB (University Hospital Bonn). They are modern, kept clean and tidy, and have separate shower and toilet areas. Patients use a card to enter the building and their rooms, which keeps unauthorized people out.
I felt very comfortable here. The room was much bigger than I expected, tastefully decorated, and clean, with everything thoughtfully prepared. Thank you, I'd gladly stay again.
The location is ideal if you're spending several days at the UKB, with a lovely park right next door. The room is roomy and clean, and it's quiet at night. Helicopters are rare, or at least I didn't hear any. The high ceiling, around 4 meters, makes it hard to warm the room when it's cold outside. When I contacted customer service about a broken chair, they replaced it promptly. Check-in and check-out are almost contactless through the information desk at the UKB (University Hospital of Bern), and the bill is mailed to your home, which is well organized. One downside is that the UKB café doesn't open until 9 a.m., and shops and restaurants are at least 1-2 km away.
I'm here for rehab, and I'm really pleased with my room. It's clean and has lots of space.
