The landlord was friendly, and it was quiet despite being near central Berlin. The standard was basic but fine, and there were plenty of bunks.

With the lift out of order, reaching this fifth-floor apartment meant climbing 95 steps. Inside, it was dirty and badly run down, and the supposed recent renovation just wasn't true. The place is in terrible condition, and I strongly recommend against booking it. I have to give one star, though even that feels undeserved.
