We spent three nights at this lovely, quiet place and found the reception staff kind. On our last day they kept our bags safe while we went on one final excursion in Berlin. We hope to come back and enjoy it again. Danke schon.

There are lovely bars, restaurants and plenty of bakeries close by, and it’s a short walk to beautiful Tegel Lake. I highly recommend renting bikes there to explore the miles of bike trails. The hotel serves a nice European breakfast with deli meats and cheeses, pastries, cereal, yogurt and eggs. The hotel is charming, in a quaint little town. Our only problem was the lack of fans during a warm spell, and there’s no AC. After we asked several times, they brought us a fan, which made our stay feel perfect.

A good place to stay in Tegel. The rooms are spacious, breakfast is good, and the metro station is nearby.

The price for what you get is very good, and the hotel is right in the center. The rooms were surprisingly quiet, with a large bathroom. We hadn’t used computer check-in at the entrance before, but it worked perfectly. Just have your booking number ready. Drinks are in the hallway, and you tally them on a list. They still trust guests here. Parking is a bit tricky, but we’d gladly come back. Full marks from us.
