The service was really friendly, and the room worked fine as a place to stay while visiting the city. Still, we felt uncomfortable because the room was a bit too silky and "cozy," and it smelled like warm candle wax. For somewhere this far out of town, it seemed a little expensive compared with hotel prices.

The staff really pay attention to whether you're comfortable and what you need. The place is quiet and away from city noise, and I'd stay here again if I return to Berlin as a tourist. It may seem a little remote, but the trams can take you anywhere, so it works very well.

I really want to come back to Berlin and stay here again. The hotel was very clean and cozy, with big rooms, great service, and breakfast included. Prices were very good too. There's also a lovely garden and a really nice outdoor pool.

I've never dealt with people this unfriendly over the phone. I called Tuesday, today at 09.20 a.m., to ask for information about maybe staying one night, and I was shocked by the conversation. I had to remind the woman that I was a potential customer and deserved to have my questions heard. I only had two: could we pay to use the pool, or book and pay for a room just to use the pool, whether or not we slept there? I know Berlin isn't known for customer service, but after living here for 16 years, that call really shocked me.

Friendly crew and a nice breakfast. It's right by Berlin tram line 4, with amenities around. Alexanderplatz takes about 20-25 minutes by public transport.
