The area around the hotel was messy because there was a lot of construction going on during my visit, though that’s understandable. My room, sheets, and towels were clean, and it was quiet. For a budget business trip where you just need a decent night’s sleep, it does the job.

It gets more expensive every day, while the hotel is plain and unclean. A disgrace to Berlin. The service staff aren’t friendly.

The rooms in Berlin can be much better for 75€. You’d expect AC and an ensuite bathroom for that price. This place is like GULAG punishment, though even prison cells have higher standards. Stay away from this Russian containment facility. If you don’t vacate your room punctually at 11am, they call the police and have you arrested. There’s zero hospitality, yet they still charge 75€ for the luxury of possibly being arrested. This pension is beyond plain, a disgrace to Berlin and the western world. Better luck next time.

We were in a calm corner of such a chaotic city, yet very close to the central bus station and the other transport links. Everything was simply and attractively provided. The staff were friendly and knew decent English, even if they said they knew “a little.” If you have questions about the hotel, just give them a call. I first planned to stay one night, then added a second the next day, and everyone was very helpful. It felt like home, honestly. This is the cheapest option with the best room, location, and safety, and I’d recommend it to tourists. Whether you’re in Berlin for business, tourism, or anything else, it’s the best choice.
